Indiana University Dance Marathon Poster

Influence: Gabriel Alcala

My class was assigned to create a poster under the influence of one of our favorite artists. I designed this poster under the influence of Gabriel Alcala, an illustrator from Miami, FL.

The Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM) is a the second largest student-run philanthropy organization in the world. They have raised over $46 million for Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. IUDM takes place in the fall, bringing together more than 4,000 IU students willing to stay awake and stand on their feet for 36 hours. As a Riley’s kid myself, I am honored to create a poster that reflects the brave Riley kids who inspire all of us to make a difference in the world.
